I've been MIA....

But I'm back and I'm better. (*Bryson Tiller voice*)

Whew.  I haven't blogged (here) since October last year?!

Here's what happened.

I created a Wix over Christmas break with every intention of "recreating" my "brand" with a more...official website. I made a few posts over there and went about my merry way.

But it just didn't FEEL right.

I've shared all my ups and downs on this site over the past few years, and I can say that having this blog really helped me stay encouraged when I lost weight (30ish pounds) with Weight Watchers the first time around.
So why abandon what has been proven to work?

I'm still trying to figure that out.

You know, you may have noticed a trend.  I do have a slight problem with consistency. (*Sarcasm*) I mean, I do something for one week, one month, or even a few months, and eventually I get content or discouraged and I....give in. I won't say that I quit because I always pick myself up and get going again.

But I'm human.  And weight loss is hard.  The most important point is that I pick myself up and get going again.

So that's exactly where I am now.

A few updates:
1.  I'm back on Weight Watchers as a meetings member, and I am following Smart Points.  I lost 7 pounds the first two weeks I got back on track.  The program works. Period.
2.  I started 22 Minute Hard Corps this week, and I still have mixed emotions about it.
3.  For the past 7 weeks, I have been involved in a "Biggest Loser" through my school's campus recreation center.   I have been working with personal trainers two times a week and feeling better about pushing myself hard.
4.  The booty gains are real. (FINALLY!!)
5.  I'm still struggling to eat all my vegetables.  And my cravings for Chick Fil A and Chinese food are still hanging around.  It's a cycle.  Lack of vegetables-->increased cravings.  This is a huge area for improvement for me.
6. I participated in an 8 week challenge sponsored by FBF Fitness...and lost 12 pounds...only to gain 6 pounds back over Spring Break.  So disappointed in myself, but I know it could've been much worse!

Within the coming weeks, I plan to make a blog post detailing my feelings about my latest workout regimen (including 22 Minute Hard Corps) and my eating plan (or lack thereof).

In addition, be on the lookout for a change in how this blog is structured.  You may have noticed that I did a major overhaul on the theme (which I'm loving for the time being), but I have a few more ideas up my sleeve.

Talk to you soon!
