After months of continuous weight gain, I made a decision to take back my life.

Throughout this journey, it has been hard to see my way sometimes.  You know, it's easier to do things when you are surrounded by people who are trying to achieve similar results.  Unfortunately, not many of the people around me struggle with their weight.  Or might I say, to be politically correct, not many people I KNOW have admitted to that they struggle with their weight and/or are in the process of becoming healthy.

So I have made a few changes.

Healthy Habits

A lot has been going in my personal life.

I have been known to use food to "fight" my feelings and brush them under the rug.  That's pretty much how I gained all my weight in the first place.

Why do we do things we know we have no business doing?

I have asked myself this several times over the past two days.

I woke up this morning and...I was up 1 pound.

I know...totally a big deal, huh?

Well it kinda bummed me out. (I need to kick my scale to the curb.)

But I did my workout and I drank my Shakeo and green smoothie and carried on with my day.

I ended up leaving home and I got super hungry while I was out. And you know what happens when you starve? You overeat when you get food.

Yesterday I was only down 0.6 pounds (from 188.6 to 188).

This morning, I was down 1.4 pounds (to 186.6).

That means I am officially down 5 pounds in 4 days.

It's Hump Dayyyyy!

Goodness gracious. I've already fallen into a slump.

So, yesterday morning, I woke up and I was down 3 pounds (from 191.6 to 188.6) from Monday.

Woohoo!! Exciting huh?

Day 1 of the Green Smoothie Challenge is almost over.

And, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say that my hunger today has been about an 8.5.

I'm addicted to fast food. And food-like products.
