Refresh...the moment of temporary insanity in which I bought Insanity Max :30

Boy have the last few weeks been super busy! Two weeks of finals and other organizational duties have kept me from blogging, but oh, how I have missed it!

I haven't had the time to post my 3 Day Refresh results so here they are....*drumroll please*


I finished the 3 Day Refresh and lost a total of 3 pounds and 1.5 inches!  I got down to 185 pounds the Monday after I did the Refresh. For my weigh-in that Friday, I was 187 partly because I wasn't exercising and I did not eat very healthily every day.  Since then I have worked hard to get back down to 185 and continue to lose! 


My goals are to lose 2 pounds a week for the next two weeks. (May I add that this morning I was down to 184.4?) I have been trying to cut 500 calories (about 5 points) from my daily intake, and burn 500 (or more) calories in the gym. I've fallen a bit short with the cutting points from my diet, but I've done pretty well with burning 500 calories. I will see where my efforts take me at my weigh-in this week. 

I have one more week to lose 1 pound to win my Dietbet4, and I will do whatever it takes to get there! I am striving to record EVERYTHING I eat and I have really been watching my snacking! 

I'm 3 pounds from reaching my Dietbet10 goal of 181.  If I can manage to lose 2 pounds for the next 2 weeks, I will have surpassed that goal.  I'm just going to work as hard as I can!

To help me reach my goals, I have decided to invest in Insanity Max :30.  I cannot wait for it to get here. I'm slightly intimidated by it because I've tried Insanity in the past. But I am ALL for a cardio workout so I'll toughen up and go for it! I have nothing to lose but WEIGHT and INCHES!

Speaking of cardio, cardio is my FAV! I know that cardio blasts fat, but I also know that, without strength training, I won't be able to tone up. I really fear strength training, and I am not nearly as consistent with my strength training workouts as I could be. Maybe I'll look for a personal training app to help me with that....
