Not really sure how to begin this....so here goes....


Blogging is something I have desired to do for a while.  I've consulted lots of different blogs for lots of information/opinions--from fashion advice to makeup advice to life advice.  Most recently, I have gone through this phase of looking at different women's weight loss blogs.  I have noticed that these blogs are an extra boost of support (and motivation) for some people.  And I need all the support I can get.


In the past week, I have never experienced so much pain.  Haven't been feeling my best...long story short, after a night in the ER, I know that I need to take better care of myself. My health is not where it should be.


I stress a lot. I eat a lot. I sleep a lot.  I don't exercise a lot...I don't even walk a lot. I drink water...but not always a lot. But I do think about my weight and my health a lot. 


So when I overcome this little bout of illness, I am going to ACT on my thoughts. I am going to bring April in with the Advocare 24-Day Challenge. I started the Challenge before, but I cheated way too much. I saw results after the first 3 days (Cleanse phase) and decided that I didn't need to follow everything it said...I couldn't have been more wrong. But while I was on the Challenge, I had much more energy and I didn't have as many adverse reactions to the foods I was eating as I have had lately. But, I've heard that's what clean eating is all about.


In the meantime, I'll be looking for motivational stuff. I know, for me, weight loss is a serious mind thing. (I need to be able to overcome my cravings for Chick Fil A breakfast, Starbucks blueberry muffins and white chocolate mochas, and anybody's chocolate cake!)
